Power Print

// Peplum Top - Asos // Trousers - Zara // Heels - Topshop //

I think that once the weather starts to get cooler and we head into A/W outfits tend to get duller; I'm the first to admit being guilty of this. This year I'm determined to keep colour in my wardrobe, at least for most of the time. This peplum top adds shape and a bold print to an outfit, I love this shade of blue (I'm channeling china plates) and I think it can be worn either with the usual dark colours as in this case, or for more of a statement could be paired with something brighter (I have red in mind). Another thing to mention about this outfit are my trousers, this casual, jogger esque shape is all over the high street in the minute and depending on the fabric can be either smart or casual, they are warm and comfy yet somehow still relatively stylish and are therefore a winter staple.

Double Velvet

// Jacket - Topshop // Jumper - Missguided // Skirt - Asos // Boots Asos //

I think I may have a small obsession with velvet, its such a beautiful fabric, especially for autumn winter and theres something so classic about it. I love this wine coloured skirt that i recently got in the Asos sale, its the perfect colour for the season and being bodycon makes it super flattering. The Missguided jumper has a velvet front and chiffon back, I don't think the photos do it much justice as it looks a bit of an odd shape, but ever since I got this I've been wearing it whenever its cooler out. These boots will probably feature in many posts to come as they will be my winter staple. The pointed toe makes them a little quirky and being real rather they are bound to last for a couple of seasons at the least!

Ive got an exciting event coming up soon, so hopefully I will have some pictures to share with you in a couple of weeks, until then more outfit posts will be on the way!

Wardrobe Essential: Black Heels

// From top left, clockwise // Topshop // Zara // New Look //

Recently I've noticed myself forming a slight obsession with black shoes, they take a large proportion of my complete collection and I think its just because they are so classic and easy to style. A pair of back heels is an essential in any modern womans wardrobe, especially a pair which can take you from day to night. Currently I have 3 pairs which to me all suit different occasions and moods. My Topshop court are perfect for both day and night which can make any outfit look effortlessly styled. Similarly my brand new leather pair from Zara can be worn all hours of the day but create a more minimalist edgy look due to the chunky heel. Finally my velvet New Look pair are perfect for a night out, with the platform to give height.

Obviously you don't need 3 pairs of black heels, which to most people probably look the same, but I still think that one pair can be worn with almost anything and can immediately make a boring outfit look exciting, an easy and economic way to change up several looks!

Camel Couture

 // Jacket - Pull & Bear // Cami - Topshop // Leather Skirt - Zara // Heels - Zara // Sunglasses - Zara // Scrunchie - Urban Outfitters //

A lightweight jacket is such a perfect piece to take you through to A/W,  they're perfect to throw on on cooler evenings or to layer up with coats when it gets really cold! This one form Pull & Bear is in a gorgeous camel/sand colour, a shade predicted to be big next season in the military trend.

I kept the whole outfit quite simple, using contrasting soft and leather textures to add detail, the leather skirt was picked up in the Zara sale for an insane £7.99. I must apologise, the leather heels from my last post had to be featured again, I just can't get over them!

Clean Cut

// Blazer - Pull & Bear // Top - Zara // Jeans - BDG ant Urban Outfitters // Heels - Zara // Sunglasses - Zara //

In the UK we tend to have weird summers. There can be a heatwave for weeks or rain, or overcast skies, or even cold temperatures, and after a few weeks of insane heat the weather has been a bit bland. I think that its important to still keep looks looking summery and light, even when the weather may not permit for crop tops and shorts.

I am totally in love with this nude blazer, discovered in the sale at Pull & Bear whilst on holiday in Spain, it was a steal at only 10 euros! The heels were also a Spanish find, from Zara, even more ridiculous these were reduced from 70 euros to only 10, being real leather I couldn't leave them behind!

This is the style that my future posts will follow and I'd love any comments that you have!

Important Update!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to make a small post to keep you up to date with whats happening with my blog. For a while I've been unhappy with it, simply because I didn't feel that the title really suited my content anymore. Over the past few months my interest has shifted more towards fashion, rather than beauty and my posts have been reflecting this. I want to thank those of you who have stuck with me even though the content of my blog isn't what it used to be. I decided to change my blog name... to my name. Although it could appear to be rather narcissistic, the reasoning behind it is genuinely due to my lack of creativity, I've been trying hard for weeks to think of something a little more interesting!

My blog name has changed from:
t4intedbeauty.blogspot.co.uk to alicerosebuttery.blogspot.co.uk

Posts from now on will hopefully be regular, with me aiming to upload as much as I can over the summer before switching to a schedule when I begin school again, and will be almost 100% outfit and fashion posts! I hope you still enjoy reading the content and that you will stick with me!

Thank You!

Cool Leather

During a visit to my nearest Zara I found some gorgeous pieces in the sale that I thought would be perfect to take from summer through to winter. I ended up picking up 2 pleather skirts, one white and one black for just £7.99 and I thought the white one was such lovely piece to add texture to a summer outfit. I paired it with my grey crop top from Urban Outfitters which was on my blog couple of post go (apologies for the repetition) but I thought it gave a clean and classy finish to the outfit

 // Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters // Crop Top - Urban Outfitters // Skirt - Urban Outfitters // Mules - New Look (see last post) //

Also new in this post is my purple ombre hair, which I did myself and I know a few of you are interested in it, so If you would like a post on how I did it comment below! I'm also thinking of changing by blog name, simply to match my content a little better so please let me know what you think to the idea!

Thanks for reading guys and hopefully over summer my posts will become more consistent!

Mules: This Seasons Shoe

Hi Guys! Today's post is centred around my latest purchase! I've been wanting some mules since they started appearing on my favourite blogs in early summertime and couldn't leave this pair in New Look when I saw them!

// Crop Top - Topshop // Shorts - Topshop // Mules - New Look //

I love these shoes and I dare say that I'm going to be wearing them a lot over this season and into autumn as well! These shorts made an appearance on my blog some time ago and I think I might have deleted the post but I decided to keep this outfit simple; perfect for summer and hot weather.

Pink Pout

As promised the beauty posts are back! Its well known that the pink lip is a timeless look, and one of my favourites when it comes to lip colours. On a day to day basis, lipstick is the one product I reach for the least, and when I do I love pink shades for an effortless feel. My favourite is a dusty pink colour or a pale pink, both are natural, yet add a bit of colour to a look. Today, I thought I'd make a post on my favourite pinks at the moment; three different shades that create 3 different feels to a look.

// Clockwise from bottom left // YSL Rouge Volupte - Shade 1 // MUA (unsure of shade as they don't print it on the packaging) // Rimmel London - 006 Pink Blush //

The YSL shade is one you will probably have all seen me talk about before, so I'm not going to go on about it for ages as I have got a post reviewing it, but in my opinion it the perfect everyday dusty pink, and definitely worth the splurge!

Next the MUA lipstick is much more of a statement, its a bold deep pink and looks great in the summer and can make a simple makeup look polished and fun. The lighting

Finally the bubble gum pink shade from Rimmel. I love this for a pop of colour without being overpowering, its a classic girly pink and looks great on most complexions!

Thanks for reading! Comment your favourite pink lipsticks down below so I can try some more!

Sundress

Another outfit post today! I feel like since I've started my blog and instagram my interests have shifted more towards fashion than beauty, which is annoying for you guys I know, and I'm thinking of changing my blog name to be more fitting. I will still be posting beauty but at the moment I'm just really into fashion, plus outfit posts are so easy and impromptu to make.

I finally took some outfit photos with my camera so hopefully you will be able to notice the difference! Also please excuse my awful nails, I'm lazy.

// Dress - H&M // Jacket - Topshop // Boots - Topshop // Bag - Zara //

I really love this dress, it was another purchase from my trip to manchester and I think it will be a key piece for summer, and the best part about it? The price, it was only £5.99,I'm going to look online for any other patterns this comes in because the fabric is so light and soft and feels like it should have cost much more.

Apologies for wearing the same leather jacket again, it's such a staple and just goes with everything, I wear it far too often.

Thanks for reading guys, and thanks for staying with me despite the content change recently, I really do appreciate it! On another note, I recently reached 100 followers on Bloglovin, which really means a lot! If you aren't already follow me by clicking the link in the side bar or just typing my blog name in the search bar on the bloglovin website!

Manchester Trip

This weekend I went on a trip to Manchester. I was seeing One Direction on Friday night and spent the rest of the time shopping, I had a great couple of days and took a few outfit pictures of a new purchase. It's the first time I've taken blog photos in public, still getting used to people staring like I'm a freak but the photos look so much more interesting, although in my hometown the background wouldn't be anywhere near as pretty.

Whilst out and about shopping I spotted these dungarees in Zara and fell in love, but from looking at them thought that they would be much too expensive fir me to splurge on. When I looked at the tag I was so shocked that they were only just over £25. To me they looked like they could have been 4 times the price and wouldn't look out of place in a collection by one if my favourite designers.

Dungarees - Zara // Vest - Zara // Shoes - Topshop // Leather Jacket - Topshop // Gold Hoops - New Look // Gold Chain - Zara

They're made from a super light fabric which makes them perfect for summer and will be so effortless to style.

These aren't the only item I bought so expect to see some more posts with new items in the future!

Thanks for reading as usual guys, and comment any thoughts below!

MAC Face and Body Foundation

As requested on my instagram, I'm going to do a quick review of the MAC Face and Body foundation, which is my current favourite, and is massively hyped up by many beauty bloggers/vloggers.

This foundation is a light to medium coverage with a slightly dewy finish. I think its perfect for summer as it gives the skin such a healthy looking glow, and isn't too heavy for those warmer days. I know that this foundation is talked about a lot, and since I've bought it I can see why. Despite being a lighter coverage than I've loved in th past, recently this foundation is the one I've been reaching for pretty much every day. I think its perfect for school, work and everyday use as its not going to look like foundation, but rather more 'your skin but better'. If you'd like to the finish, I have it on, in my last post on "Two Trends".

I do find that I need to powder more with this foundation, as I feel that it can sometimes look too dewy without a brush over. It also lasts longer with a powder thats going to fix it in place (my favourite is Rimmel Stay Matte, surprise, surprise). Personally I wouldn't recommend this for someone with oiler skin as it would probably 'slide' off the face, which is the opposite to a flawless finish, but I do think that this works perfectly on normal/dry skin and leaves it looking naturally beautiful.

To apply this foundation I just put a small drop on the back of my hand, before dotting it over my face and then using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to blend it out seamlessly.

Thanks for reading, I hope you liked this style of post, leave a comment below of any other products you would like me to review or any dupes of this foundation that you have discovered!

Two Big Trends

Todays post is a makeup look! The two of the biggest makeup trends this summer are the orange lip and the white liner, so I decided to create a look that included the both! Just a small disclaimer, I'm not a makeup artist, or a model, so excuse any small mistakes or awkward poses also excuse the messy hair.

Firstly I followed my normal base and eyebrows routine, before starting on the eyes. Firtsly i applied MAC'c Paint Pot in Painterly, before applying my bronzer softly into my crease. Net I put aline of white kohl liner to my lid and inside my lower water line, the one I use is just a cheap one from Natural Collection. Finally for the eyes I piled on my favourite mascara, the Loreal Miss Manga in Black.

To finish off the look I applied my MAC Soft and Gentle highlighter and contoured with my Benefit Hoola Bronzer, before adding the statement lip colour, MAC Morange.

Sorry if this post seems rushed, I've never written one like it before! Thanks for reading guys, if you have any question bout my technique or the products then leave me a comment!
