TAG: Beauty Talk

Hey Guys!

So I've got a TAG post today! My friend Jess at jessicasbeautygarden.blogspot.com asked me to do a tag that she had created! Its all about beauty throughout the year and Christmas beauty loves and tips! So here it goes…

What products have stood out to you this year?

This year I have become totally obsessed with my MAC eyeshadows. I also think that one of the best eye products this year, for me, has been the Maybelline Colour Tatoos! The Hoola Bronzer by Benefit is a fairly new addition to my makeup collection but I am obsessed with it! Its just the best bronzer I've tried. Finally the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are just amazing quality for such an affordable price, one should be on everyone's Christmas list!

Which makeup items would you recommend for young girls or people who are just getting in to beauty?

Definitely all the Rimmel foundations! They are all so affordable and they each seem to suit different skin types, I personally love both the Match Perfection and Wake Me Up. I would also say that an MUA palette needs to be something you own. The pigmentation in the eyeshadows are ridiculous, although they can leave quite a bit of fall out, for £4 I can't complain.

Favourite high street and high end beauty brand?

My favourite high street brand would probably be Bourjois because I love their products! When it comes to high end, I have a slowly developing MAC obsession…

Most disappointing product you've tried?

I would have to say the Rimmel Scandaleyes Micro Eyeliner when I first bought this I thought it was going to be really good, I was wrong. It turned out to be awful! After a few days no colour was leaving the tip at all, it feel dry and the colour pay off is awful! Please don't waste any money on this product!!!

A beauty item you use everyday?

My Real Techniques Brushes!

What are you essentials for winter?

A good moisturiser, as my skin dries up so easily when the conditions get harsh! Also a good dark berry lip, its an essential for a super festive look.

Your favourite product for a dramatic, party look?

My MAC shadows! I'm an eyeshadow addict and any party look I do involves lots of it!

What's on your Christmas wish list? (beauty wise….)

This year I'm wanting some skincare products to get my skin back on track! Ive heard great things about the Una Brennan Superfacialist Purifying Face Wash and the Origins Drink Up Intense Overnight Mask. I also really want to try out the Dr Jart+ Water Fuse BEauty Balm Cream.
